So after ALL the talk of the genius Bill Belichick screwing over the Jets by letting the Steelers trade up for Broderick Jones...today I am listening to the local Boston morons talk about how the Pats are weak at OT and need more starter depth. They're asking whether the team should have addressed OT more in the draft.
Yet NONE of them are backtracking how they were LOLJets when the Pats traded with the Steelers.
The signed Connor McDermott and fans were talking him up on a fb forum.

Say what you want about BB and his coaching abilities. But it's pretty easy to build and maintain a winning program when you:
1. Draft the GOAT in the 6th round.
2. That GOAT plays for less money than he's worth.
3. That GOAT plays for 20 season on your team.
For the 20 seasons with Brady, the pats have rarely if ever had their hand forced in a trade. And it's because of this that they've been able to win a lot of lopsided trades. Now that Brady is gone, so is their trading advantage. IMO, the pats should be focusing on their own team instead of wasting time trying to hurt their division rivals.
The Jets struck gold with McDonald and there's no pressure for him to perform year one.
