Certainly is encouraging. We'll know for sure in a couple of years just how good MM is, but the early indications are promising particularly in contrast to the barren draft years of Tanny/Rex/Idzik. I insert Rex beacuse he had a lot of say and he was responsible for developing the draftees.
having a "franchise GM" is right up there in importance with having a 10+ year guy at QB.. elite edge rusher, shut down CB, stud LT & a great HC..
hell, you can make the argument an NFL GM is more important than everyone i mentioned because he might/did acquire all the talent i listed..
it's still fairly early but mac may end up having a 10+ year run with us..
