Looks like the Jets and the Browns are the only AFC franchises unable to provide at least a back-up. Never mind, we will be expected to be excited when enough of the other players have scratched for our guys to get in by default.

Jets rookie safety Jamal Adams and veteran quarterback Josh McCown were named third and fifth alternates respectively for the AFC’s Pro Bowl roster.

Nobody should care about the Jets getting pro bowl consideration? What matters is the team progressing becoming a better team than the 5-11 shit show they currently are? We'll find out a lot about that this offseason. The most important things this offseason is QB and OL. If mac can successfully satisfy those needs the Jets will be well on their way to getting to the SB. If Mac picks another Hackenberg and Adrien Clarke? We'll be a laughingstock worse than they currently are.

In order for the Jets to get better the long term goals should be as follows:

1) Mac must continue to draft well.

2) He must get the Jets a real deal QB.
