per PFF QB rating: 47.9

Dwayne Haskins threw his way six times yesterday. Austin allowed 3 catches for 9 yards.

i have no idea if the kid knows who's number they gave him but so far so good..

was the equipment fuy on to something??

I know we still need cb help , but given the mess we have on the o-line, Bless Austin makes me feel a lot better about the position. If we can find one more starting caliber cb , either through FA or the draft , fixing the o-line might be less of a monumental task.

OL and CB are clearly the dire needs for the Jets. Thankfully, Austin looks like he can start at this level and hold onto one of the spots for next year. My only concern is him staying healthy given his injury plagued college career.

Well this is going back , but Wesley Walker’s history gives me hope. Walker stayed healthy , and had a fairly long career after the same type of injury, albeit a single occurrence.
