Bowles and What to do -

What grieves me the most is the DL. This DL is so talented, they should be putting up MUCH better performances than they have. The fact is, they are just another disappointment among many this season.

You know this should be interesting to watch..... Todd Bowles at this point must know that the fan base is calling for his job. He'd be an idiot if he didn't. It'll be interesting to see how he responds to this. When Rex felt his job was on the line, he always answered the call and managed to win games. Lets see if Bowles can do the same or is he truly as bad as I think he is?

Most of us thought we were in for a rough start this season, and here we are. No mid-season firing of a second year coach, thank you. Let's see where this goes, what/if he learns.

I will say this - Fitz HAS to be on a short leash. He throws 2 picks (his fault, not tips etc.) in the first half, he's gotta sit.

Ok.....lets take this into perspective. What do the consistently good teams ( Pats...Packers....Steelers...Seahawks... Carolina Bengals....Ravens...Saints to an extent etc) have in common? They don't change coaches every other year. Sometimes these teams have an off year....but they don't panic and start canning everyone. And what do the shit teams ( Browns, Fins, Raiders, (until this year), Niners, Jacksonville etc do??? They can everyone every other year. You cannot win without consistency....period. New coaches mean new schemes, and roster turnover because the existing players don't fit. Give Bowles a little time. He is a young coach and he is still learning.

Great Point! We need consistency but Bowles and Mac have their some serious work cut-out for them.

Bowles isn't making any in-game adjustments and our secondary has been outright putrid!! Pryor is regressing back to old form and everything outside of the front 4 on defense looks awful!

I know Harris is our QB on D, but he is past his prime and couldn't cover in his prime. Time to cut bait and revamp this defense. We can't defend a screen pass to save our lives and all you have to do is go across the middle of the field and the entire Jets defense looks lost!

We need to stop the bleeding and work with the talent that we have. So obviously the coaches need to do a much better job of actually coaching.
