Can some one tell me why Chan and Kacy Rogers are still employed by the NYJ?

Jets should be on the phone with Mike McCoy like yesterday. He'd be a great fit here. Horrible HC but an excellent OC.

safe bet bowles has been given his marching orders on who absolutely must be fired in order for him to keep his job..

i'm guessing gailey gets fired & rogers has zero chance of keeping his gig..

but this is the jets.. i might be talking about conversations that still haven't taken place yet..

Why would McCoy want to go to the Jets? Worst opportunity in the league.

This is the common theme for any argument, "why would any team _______ for the Jets".
Not for nothing, for the right $$$, any player or Head coach/assistant or specialty coach would go any where that would benefit his family.

Unless there is some agenda against that organization as Belichick has against the Jets.

Also, to play devils advocate:
The mantra right now that even the media is sending out is "Stability". If Bowles is truly coming back for the '17 season, coordinators will benefit from the fact that Woody is giving the appropriate time to help the Head coach flourish. Thus allowing the coordinator to succeed and help his cause to become head coach again in the near future.

Thats 100% brother. In order to move forward, Bowles must adhere to what he must do in order to not replicate the 2016 season. In saying so, this is the reason i'am still not sold on the fact that he is 100% on board on staying. Lets see how everything pans out. Especially after the Houston Playoff game, in which i have an inkling that O'Brien may be a target, even as an OC. May have to over pay. Unless he takes the Pats OC job while McDaniels moves on.

Let's be clear here. Progress will not be defined by wins. Improvement must be shown in control of the locker room, preparation for each game - both before the game as well as in-game adjustments, utilizing the players he has to the best of their abilities and clock management among other factors.

If he can improve in those areas, he will have shown progress. If he hasn't by the end of the year, he should be gone.
