I just saw this on twitter. I doubt that Geno saw this but it's nice of him to show some support for Geno. He sounds like a true friend. Brady Quinn sucked though! No wonder these two confide in each other. Here's an excerpt. I honestly forgot he was with the Jets. Check out the full letter here. :D

The past is the past and there's nothing you can do to change it. Believe me, I was in your shoes back in 2009.

All you can do is learn from past mistakes and get better. THIS IS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU. This is where that resiliency I saw in you needs to pay off.

Don't let anyone on the outside tell you otherwise, or that "your season is over." You have five opportunities to finish this season strong and show any doubters that you have ability to be a full time starter in this league. Use all the negativity as motivation, and get back to the basics and fundamentals.

And even though it may be out of character, don't be afraid to speak up and lead the men in that locker room.

I believe in you, now go out and do it.

LOL though very nice, I am not taking Brady Quinn's advice on quarterbacking since he hasn't been good since Notre Dame.

well it was a nice gesture but geno playing decent is the worst thing for this franchise because we want everyone gone.

no way a new regime comes inhere and is okay with Geno as the starter so I think the writing is on the wall.

While a touching move by Quinn, you guys have pretty much summed up my feelings on the matter. No new coach or new GM (Should we have one) is going to walk through the door and proclaim Geno Smith as the future. I think it's safe to say that at this point he's playing to show he can be a decent backup/maybe but probably not competing for the starting job next year.
