And personally, the league never should have punished the Skins and Cowboys. How do you punish a team for violating a salary cap that does not exist?
I thought the Skins/Cowboys punishment was odd. Basically a pigs get fat and hogs get slaughtered kind of deal.

Brady announced at 12:30 that he is dropping the lawsuit and will take the 4-game suspension.

Why does Brady get to exact revenge? For getting caught cheating? And Goodell is some Jets shill because he was an intern for the Jets for one year more than 30 years ago? That makes up for him being buddies with Kraft? That negates him covering up for Patriots cheating? That makes up for Kraft being the guy responsible for him getting his huge salary?

This punishment is actually illegal. It's collusion of the owners to have a handshake deal to not pay players. I have no clue how this isn't in court.

It's not in court because not every team whines and cries the way the Patriots do.
But you're right. Snyder and Jones had more of a case against the league than Brady did.
It wouldn't be the owners alone, the nflpa should have complained that the owners colluded to keep salaries down, and even punished teams that acted legally.

Players gave NFL the right to the the Commish deal out punishment & arbitrate all complaints . Stupid by Players & hence why Courts ended it. Far as Brady & Pats cheating....just needs to STOP. Deflating the footballs helped Brady but isnt the biggest effect in games to help them. Its deflating footballs that helps WR's-TE's-RB's in catching passes one handed & football easier to grip & catch. Notice how WR's -TE's RB's has many dropped passes before coming to Pats? Once on Pats their dropped passes stats are 99% lower than before. Stop cheating ( deflating balls-Filming other teams on & off the field/locker room at half time) bending the rules. Pats are good enough to win without cheating & are a disgrace & entire SB championships are questionable . Cheaters never win? Seems to work for Pats.
