Well here is where the old QB's go to die
No WR's, No RBs, No OL......yup, it's Eli's fault.
Mcadoo did say he would get Webb in the games down the line.
reports are , Webb will not be active this week so if /when Geno sucks, Eli will have to play.
McAdoo actually said Geno Smith gives the Giants the best chance to win.

This really is unbelievable to me. I thought Peyton got disrespected when the Colts let him go so they could draft Luck. And how has that worked out so far? But benching Eli, probably the only guy who will ever beat the cheatahs in the superbowl and he's done it twice for crying out loud, This is just wrong. He has nothing around him and he's the blame. I think it is telling that the Giants had the balls to bench a guy who won two super bowls and two super bowl mvps. Hasn't missed a game in 14 years, and is still fighting out there. But the jets, who are pretty much out of playoff contention, wont bench a 38 year old journeyman. Say what you want about how it happened or who they are starting, but its the best move if they plan on moving on from Eli. Now, if only the jets front office would see the best move for the future of the jets is to play one of the kids, then that would be greatttttttt
I can see Eli ending up in Jacksonville next year. They are a good team with a QB problem. He could slide in and help them make a playoff run. Plus he has the connection with Coughlin.

Jacksonville makes sense. Eli is under contract for 2 more seasons but I think the bridge is burned and he is gone after the season.
Denver could be another team he could end up with.
More like Mcadoo is desperate to save his job.
He has already blamed Eli for the losses this season. If he manages to get some wins with Geno, he can claim he was right.
Unless you are suggesting Geno Smith is the future for the Giants it makes no sense , Webb is not even going to be active for the game. This is total desperation on McAdoo's part. Not some grand scheme to improve their draft position.
I agree however the Giants benching Eli for Geno is like WTF!!! Everyone knows Geno isn't the answer so why bother??? Now if they were starting the rookie then that makes more since. Even if they know the rookie wasn't ready, it would make more since then Geno because you don't truly know what you have in the rookie and want to evaluate him for this upcoming draft. Maybe you catch lighting in a bottle and he shows you something worth talking about. Then you know, we got something here and he just might be straight with more development. If he flops, well it was expected anyway and they draft a QB with a top five pick. This Geno starting is truly like WTF!!! Eli is a HOFer, maybe not first ballot but a HOFer and a staple for that franchise for the past 14 years. Gotta treat the man with more respect then that. I think Eli would have understood it better and stomach it more if they were starting the rookie.
As for the Jets, what can I say except it's the Jets so what more should we all expect??? They would never be smart enough and ballzy enough to do something like this. Not for a 15 years, reject 7-10 team bounced around washed up QB in McCown. No, we have to play him all 16 games, even though we are 4-7 and it appears we will lose at least 2-3 more games and have no chance in making the playoffs. No, we just can't take McCown off the field to evaluate our younger QBs and see if they can give us anything worth looking at. No, that's just blast-famous and absolutely makes no damn since at all. We must do the DUMB SHIT AND PLAY THIS REJECT DIRT BAG THE ENTIRE SEASON AND TO REALLY SOCK IT TO THE FANS, KEEP HIM NEXT SEASON LIKE WE DID FITZPATRICK AND IF WE DRAFT A QB, IT WILL BE IN THE 5TH ROUND OR WORSE BECAUSE McCown is our guy. Only because he is playing Geno I agree with this, otherwise I could/would understand them going from the aging vet to see what the rookie can do in a lost season. It's obvious the Giants are ready to move on from Eli, so might as well start now but not with Geno. Damn!!!
