If he plays well, when he retires he'll get a job at Johnson and Johnson. (Maybe even during the off season.)

the Chiefs o line stinks as seen since the superbowl. if this guy was any good, why wouldn't he be starting for the Chiefs?

they signed Patriots guard Joe Thuney he starting left guard they drafted a center and guard both were not expected to start right away but Creed Humphrey from Oklahoma and Trey Smith from Tennessee came in and stole the show... They also have former Rams guard/center Austin Blythe who I wanted Joe Douglas to trade for because they have so much talent on that line now but we got a doctor for a special teams tight end, guess that is a win...

maybe...

I recall ...Tardiff being a pretty good OG when KC was winning the SB, so assuming he hasn't lost too much and at just 30 this is a good deal. JD will draft the long term solutions for the right side and perhaps C in the next draft or two, so this is just insurance and a pretty cheap policy at that. So good job, IMHO.

Trade works for both sides. KC is desperate for special teams players and we are desperate for a RG. Duvernay-tardif if healthy, a big if, is an upgrade over GVR. Not a big upgrade, but still an upgrade.
Funny I remember him getting tons of hate in 2020 for opting out due to his concerns of passing covid to his family, then going to work as an "orderly" at a long term care facility.
