Behind what, Drew Lock or Geno Smith? It’s going to take more than the 2 first rounders to get Watson from Houston unless they just want to get rid of him .
Houston is going to cut Watson because on the 5th day of the new league year $20 M becomes guaranteed!
The only team right now that might trade for him are doing their due diligence with the civil and possible criminal implications are the Eagles from what I hear.
Even if he gets cut and signed by the Seahawks, it’s at least 2 more years before he can play again . With his court case and league suspension.
if he is cut the league will put him on the Commissioner's exempt list until his court cases are finalized so no team will be able to sign him, then from there when they allow a team to pursue him, they will notify teams of the penalty the league is going to give him thereafter. That is what I heard from somebody I don't remember before the Combine. Personally I don't care has no bearing on the Jets even if the Dolphins re-emerge as suitors.

so Seahawks have two QBs under contract Washington Jacob Eason and now Missouri Drew Lock, but also hearing with Deshaun Watson's news about Friday if he is cleared the Hawks could be involved to trade for Watson? Speculation at this point, but Pete Carrol was zoned in on Ole Miss QB Matt Corral. If you need proof here this was taken at the Combine:

i'd say so... the 9th overall this year puts them in a cat bird's seat to take just about any of them, unless they want to move up to 4?
just sayin'... the other QB hungry teams could make a move on that pick.
IF teams perceive SEA to be a threat to take a QB at 9.......then things might get interesting.....but I doubt they reach up to the Jets at 4
Seattle will go Matt Corral or trade this plus other picks to Houston for Deshaun, which would hiccup the draft all together, so lets wait to see what happens come Friday...
