Darnold has to be way better.

No pre-season games, a ton of new players on the team, and you are able to determine that "Sam is a bust" from one game against a very good defense. I'll be mindful of 6-2 down the stretch last season and give him just a bit more time to round into form this season.
Completely agree, and that play that Baldinger illustrated was egregious, especially since scramble plays like that are usually when Darnold is at his best. But I think that Darnold will in fact be much, much better as the season progresses. I sure hope so...

I used to yell and scream at the TV and not talk to anyone for hours, if not a a solid day. I'm as disgusted as ever, but It doesn't last long. Life's short enough as it is without dying of a heart attack over a stinking game. I like a lot of the players, but the coach is hard to root for.
