Harbaugh did pretty well in SF.GOOD because Harbaugh stinks as a HC. Michigan will breathe a sigh of relief if He goes to the NFL.

Yeah but He was fired and stunk it up IN EVERY WAY in Michigan until He brought in younger Assistants to get it done. Harbaugh, if he was smart should stay in Michigan. He won't though. Hopefully He doesn't pull an Urban Meyer.......well if he is the HC of the Dolphins it couldn't happen to a nicer team. #SQUISHTHEFISH.Harbaugh did pretty well in SF.
No he doesn't "stink".
He's 119-51 @ NCAA (.700%).
He's 49-22 @ NFL (.688%).
During his 4 NFL years in San Fransisco he led them to 3 playoff appearances along with 3 NFC Championship Games (1 SB appearances) and was 1 special teams fumble away from 2 SB appearances.
His .695% regular season winning percentage is 5th All-Time (amongst coaches with at least 50 games coached).
He completely turned around an awful Michigan Football Program that hasn't won a National Championship since 1997 and before that? 1948.
All Time = 168-73 (.700%).
He's actually one of the most winning coaches of All-Time and you're going to say he stinks?
Michigan will breath a sign of relief if he leaves them for the NFL? Well Michigan's 4-5 years before his arrival completely says otherwise. He just turned them into an NCAA powerhouse and finally beat Ohio State while ranking #1-#5 throughout the entire season.
I wish coach Saleh stunk if Jim Harbaugh is your definition of stinking.
I believe that was the problem in SF, and caused his ultimate departure there. He had a disagreement over personnel with the GM (Trent Baalke) and ended up quitting for the Michigan job.Harbaugh I do not believe in - IF he insists on having control over personnel - game, set, match. It's not a proven recipe for success - few can do/have done it. He won't be one of them. He needs a strong personnel driven GM to bring talent.
ownership and Jim were at ends... yes about personnel (coaches) the actual players he had a mutual hand in via the draft but Baalke had power for free agent signings...I believe that was the problem in SF, and caused his ultimate departure there.
