Bright Spots

Robby Anderson has proven himself this year. There's no one that can guard him one on one without safety help. Whenever that matchup is there, McCown or whoever our QB is should just heave it down the field and let Robby do his thing. He's fun to watch.

Im excited to see what he and Enunwa can do next year. I'm not sure if our number 3 wide receiver is on the roster. Do we keep Kerley or sign someone else? I don't think Hansen or Stewart have shown much.

Not sure what other bright spots are there. Maybe our young safeties. They are good and should solidify the secondary for years to come.

Another bright spot, the words playoffs and the New York Jets have officially ended. It is now time to see what this has for 2018.
Start playing some of these young corners, they can't be much worse than Buster "flag me" Skrine.
I'd also start playing Dozier instead of Winters.The game Winters missed and Dozier stepped in he seemed to play well. Winters is making too much for what heputting out on the field.
I'd tell Forte he's going to rest his knee up for the foreseeable future, if not outright IR him.
McCown, thank you, you have played well for this team. Just not well enough. You have maxed out what you are capable of, we know this because this is what you are, a 38 year old journeyman QB that is a great teammate. Please help get the younger QB's up to speed because that is who we are going with from here on out.

A bright spot would be, if after this game someone in the organization realized how important having an offensive line is. Since we are out of the qb part of the draft, maybe instead of drafting another defensive lineman that we can trade away for a receiver in a couple years, maybe, just maybe we could bring in some offensive lineman. Just a thought...

I agree, providing we can make a deal for a top one. Thing is, behind today's offensive line nobody is going to succeed. You have to take the top qb when you get the chance. The rest of the time you need to be looking for the guys that will make him a hero.

You dont need to look farther than Our good friends the Cheatahs for proof of that

Hansen and Stewart hasn't shown much because they won't give them the opportunity to do so. Just like with McGuire. Someone please explain to me why isn't he playing more? We do have a #3 and #4 WR in the team and that is Stewart and Hansen. Guess we'll have to wait about 3 more losses before we see Petty and/or Hack play also.

Really the ONLY bright spot I see out of yesterday is that maybe, just maybe, Woody and Chris are being further convinced that having Bowles as HC will NOT ever change the culture of this team. Maybe this provides more evidence as the season is now over, that Bowles is simply NOT the guy, nor will he ever be. He is not a Parcells disciple, not even close. Parcells would've had the Jets flying high after 10 days to prepare. Bowles is now 1-4 immediately after extended breaks.

Its a riot how the tone changes here after a 'STheBed' game. We all knew this team was playing over its head against some pretty mediocre at best teams, so why is everyone going nuts? This a very young team for the most part, with some gaping holes in key areas (QB, OL and CB). As far as I'm concerned the season was never about making the playoffs, and I am kinda glad we had this wake-up call. Coming out of this year, we need to get some answers on the young guys, conduct the next purge of vets and have a real clear picture of the next layering of building blocks. Gotta get a QB (Baker-Mayfield, etc.) and OLine. Wish we could invest heavily in OL like the OG or OT from Notre Dame, a NFL caliber C, but may be stuck with packaging picks to move up for the QB that we want.

Because this was same old Jets all the way. Yesterdays game was exactly what Jets fan has come to expect knowing this teams history. TODD BOWLES was hired to CHANGE THE CULTURE of this organization into that of a winning organization. The Jets played a team that they were very clearly better than and yet still lost. Everyone is going nuts because they know that this new fangled FO has NOT changed the culture of this team at least from the HC's standpoint. 4 out of the last 5 games our HC's inability to make in game adjustments has cost us the game. How you cannot see that truly befuddles me?

When you look at a winning organization like the PATSIES (I truly hate using them as an example but you are not understanding and I have to explain this to you) they BEAT the teams that they are supposed to beat. They do NOT randomly have on and off games and say what the hell, we'll get them next time? In an exemplary winning organization like the 49ers of the 80's the Giants of the mid 80's, the Cowboys of the early 90's, they ALWAYS beat the teams that they were supposed to beat.

This team consistently shows up INCONSISTENTLY, it is the only consistent thing about this team. How you cannot understand that this is a clear indictment on the HC escapes me?
