One of the reasons why CB isn't my highest priority in the upcoming draft. He's going to continue to get better as are the others.
gotta love the team's beat writers saying they have inside information that team's target this man and the NEED to bring in a true number 1 is priority... then national beat bitches pick up on those click bait stories, but in the end would it be smart to bring in someone, of course we want to compete we want our guys to grow and an experienced veteran makes sense...
third last season in incomplete passes, says a lot about his coverage skills that our so called reporters are now back tracking their statements...

And, of course you already know, I am not a fan of these sports writers and with good reason...........They write more fiction than I do and my last novel was clearly fiction designed not to fool anyone but rather entertain. These guys are pathetic most of the time.
Continuous and steady progress almost always wins the long race right ? I think he'll get there.

he actually has better stats in man coverage than in zone...
but the Jets now predominately are a zone coverage defense...
he has excellent closing burst, as seen in his run stuffs at or behind the line... and tackles on screens...
is he a number one, yes but can improve...
he has ball skills but is not aggressive at the point of attack because he knew there was no safety help over the top...
to me that is football smarts, but he did enough to force incompletions...
fix the d line, force errant throws... fix the secondary, allow him to be aggressive and jump routes... then he will show how good he can become...
