listen at the end of the day Bryce Hall is a run defender who excels in coverage...
he actually has better stats in man coverage than in zone...
but the Jets now predominately are a zone coverage defense...
he has excellent closing burst, as seen in his run stuffs at or behind the line... and tackles on screens...
is he a number one, yes but can improve...
he has ball skills but is not aggressive at the point of attack because he knew there was no safety help over the top...
to me that is football smarts, but he did enough to force incompletions...
fix the d line, force errant throws... fix the secondary, allow him to be aggressive and jump routes... then he will show how good he can become...
