It’s too bad because I really liked him and wanted him to succeed. Oh well. Jets will continue to look for and screw up their search for a QB.

He stinks. I don't see him being on an NFL roster next year.
Other than saving a couple drives by running he didn't show me anything that impressed. I'm sorry for him really. Great personality but he couldn't have been much less accurate if he tried. If he makes our roster next season, short of a miracle next week, or any roster for that matter, as anything other than a back-up I would be very surprised. I am being told, still, by someone who occasionally attends the practices that Hack is actually worse than he is. Second hand knowledge so I can't verify it but I trust my source. We need to get lucky in free agency and the draft this off season. I'll watch for a miracle next week but I'm not going to hold my breath.
Only the Jets would draft, keep and attempt to develop QB's who are this bad...What a waste of time!!
Ah for fucks sake. FIRE MAC!! We could have had Watson who was just siting there. I don't give a shit what people say about Adams. I'm sorry he has no impact compared to even a journeyman QB. His tackling sucks, but he likes to talk a lot of shit. Not taking Watson is inexcusable. Everyone needs to go. And now to get a real QB we will need to trade up. Please let Rosen and Darnold say they won't play for the Browns so they have to take Baker Manziel. We have to get Darnold as far as I'm concerned. Now it will just set our franchise back a few top picks to move up. I really hate this incompetent organization. They will never be winners.

Stick a fork in Petty, he's DONE. Draft Baker Mayfield and start this QB search with a real live young QB talent.

Toilet gave no indication that would happen after the Chargers game.
Petty is horrid and I had my hopes for him until I saw him play last year. I had my hopes for Hack also and still want to see him play but looks I have to come to that reality also with him. They wouldn’t even dress him for two straight years. If that doesn’t say it all, I don’t know what will. Time to turn the page on both of these guys.

I don't care what Petty shows at this point. We need to move on get something special. Not sure its in this draft. It was in last years draft, but we got a safety that can't tackle instead.
Have you watched Darnold play?
he is strictly a one read QB. If his first read is covered he takes off. He has no pocket presence, never attempts to go through his progressions has terrible mechanics, footwork and delivery are terrible, in spite of working with QB gurus all off-season. He actually regressed instead of improving. And we have to get him? He really needs to stay in school another year, he is no where ready to enter the league. And is definitely not worth a few top picks to move up for. If we had a QB nearing the end of their career like the Giants, Chargers, fine. Draft him and you have 2 -3 years to develop him. But if you trade up, he has to start year 1. He's not that guy.

I agree Tony. Darnold does nothing for me, to me he looks nothing more than overrated. Now Rosen on the other hand? I think is probably the very best QB in the draft. But also a QB that there's no way the Jets could draft. It would cost too much.
I agree. Honestly if Rosen checks the boxes regarding his health in the off-season. He just won't be available for us to draft. Cleveland will take him at 1. Even if there is any truth to the rumors that he wants to go to the Giants. They will draft him, trade him to the Giants, add a pick and get whomever they want at 2, or trade that pick for a boatload of picks and still draft 3 or 4.
