During a break in the Jets game, I switched to the Patriots' game.
The announcers were talking about whether Tom Brady will win the MVP award, despite missing the first four games of the season.
One of the said "If he wins it, at 39 he will be the oldest player to win the NFL since YA Tittle in the 50's."

George Blanda won the Maxwell Award (the name of the award in those days. It was awarded by the Maxwell Club of Philadelphia to the NFL MVP like the Heisman Trophy for college players.) in 1970 at the age of 43.
Lousy fact checking by someone who probably was too young to know what the MVP award was called. I don't like my heroes getting dissed.

We destroyed a Bills team that lost Shady McCoy early in the game, and played EJ Manual and Cardinale Jones. Perspective here, folks.
It was nice to see Sheldon finally act like he cares. He had a nice game. Fitz solidified his choice of a few backup jobs somewhere else if he still wants to play. Good game, and he was victimized by two more drops. Bilal is quickly becoming one of my favorite players. Another very good game for Powell.
I almost complimented Revis, until I remembered him falling down and having a WR run right past him. Again. I don't want him back. Not as a CB, or as a safety. Goodbye Darrelle!!

When we win many fans here have an excuse why we won......when we lose we have an excuse on why we lost. Lets enjoy this win I did.
The entire '16 Rookie class looks to be a solid young core. Jury still out on Hack. We will all see soon enough in '17.
I enjoyed watching the Jets win a game, too. They were pretty much locked in with the 6th pick anyway. But this was about as meaningless a game as they come. The Bills rested their starting QB, and their HC got fired a few days ago.
This entire game was garbage time, IMO.
