Is there a
#1 /#2 cornerback,
under the age of 30, currently on this roster?
Is Breno Giacomini starting at right tackle this season a fait-accompli?
Does Jarvis Harrison have a legitimate shot at the starting right guard postion?
Will more than 3 of the Idzik 12 be on the roster
by the end of the season?
Will Bowles finally deliver the message to his troops to just shut up and play?
Would Mac consider trading Mo to the Niners for Kaepernick and a #1?
(1) NO. We do not have a prayer in hell of any of our younger corners being able to assume a number 1 or number 2 role. The closest we have is a walking injury. He can't stay on the field. If you can't stay on the field, what good are you? Milliner and McDougle suck and are a couple of BUMS.
But still that doesn't mean they are not in good shape. We are all set at corner for at least a few seasons and we'll have drafts to address the corner spot and be able to ease the young kid into things.
(2) RT is a questionable area for the Jets right along with Guard. I can't see the Jets getting this rectified before the season starts and it will probably bring down the entire offense. The offense is still a work in progress for most outsiders. Hope for the best and expect the worst.
(3) YES. Harrison very much does have a chance at RG. Colon could easily be cut during TC and the Jets just do not have very good depth along the OL. More than likely Aboushi wins the RG spot.
(4) YES 3 or more are on the roster at the end of the season. Pryor and Amaro are automatic. The Jets have too much pride to quickly admit that their GM was an incompetent idiot. McDougle deserves more of an opportunity to prove he's not just another injured bum.
(5) I think he has already delivered his message. The players had better get with the program or Bowles is personally going to walk them out. You have to question if Bowles is truly all that, but you have to think the players will suffer the wrath of the HC long before Bowles does from the fans.
(6) I hope not. Mo is a consummate Jet. He's done nothing but be a great leader for the team. If the Jets trade him it only proves that the Jets are a bunch of sneaky CSuckers. The Jets have an opportunity here to prove to all of the younger players that being a consummate team player will be rewarded. I just hope they do the right thing and resign him. If they don't, this will certainly come back to bite them in the A$$. Other players will certainly remember what they did to Mo.
