Bust alert

[AFA2017]

What player or players do you see as a possible bust? Can be a hunch or whatever.

I have my bust players as:

Devin White LB LSU
Daniel Jones QB DUKE
Greedy Williams CB LSU
Greg Little OT Ole Miss
Rashan Gary ER MICHIGAN
Devin Bush LB MICHIGAN

I was not targeting Michigan or LSU players. They All could turn out to be All-Pro's.

This is what I wrote about him in an earlier thread and I still think its true:

" He strikes me as the kind of player who gets his name called a lot by the announcers because they see his number on the top of the pile, rather than the guy under the pile who actually made the tackle. And they also know his name because of his brother's success.
I fear he'll be one step too slow in tackling and one second too slow in play recognition.
I hope if they get him, I won't have to say I told you so."

Kyler Murray! He’s not R. Wilson or B. Mayfield short. He’s not even D. Beeez short and I think Breez, Mayfield and Wilson are all the same height. My point is, Murray appears to not only be shorter then the other three but he also appears to be smaller in size/weight. His arms also appear to be pretty short. Just look at him play and he appears to be quite abit shorter and smaller then the other three.

He also seems to be a run first QB and combine all of that, I just don’t see how successful this kid can be. Now I will admit he can throw the ball and is deadly accurate but with all his other set backs, I just don’t think that will help him that much to be a Breez, Wilson or Mayfield. At best, he may turn out to be as good as Doug Flutie and if this is the case, is that really worth the first pick? Also would you consider that to be a bust for what he is projected to be? I would!

I feel like the QB’s are being overdrafted generally speaking, but especially this year. Murray, Haskins, and Lock may all go in the top 15, and that is mind blowing. I predict two out of those three bust or at least don’t live up to the draft status.

I think Murray can succeed with Kingsbury. I think he wouldn't be drafted by any of the other 31 teams.

You’re not alone. I’ve read a handful of scouting reports that suggest he’s boom or bust. I wouldn’t risk a top ten pick on him.

Jonah Williams... The way he didn't show up in Championship game against draftable players didn't sit well with me... Maybe it was just an overall beatdown but Clemson DL had a party against Bama

DK Metcalf. I don't know how a receiver with the lateral movement of a 3rd string Division III NT can play WR in the NFL.

I am worried if we trade down and grab Rashan Gary, he'll be a bust waiting to happen. That'll be another wasted pick.
