Just confirmed by Todd Bowles, so we might not have him for NE next week.

Hopefully we get Marcus Williams back.

Actually I hope we get both back, but it would hurt to lose both of them for this critical AFCE matchup.

Skrine's looked super minor so I think good chance he is back next week. We need Williams too

A good slot defender is key when playing against the Pats' offense.

After Skrine went down, McDougle was targeted several times.

He came up big. Jets are deep At DB. Pryor, Gilchrist, and McDougle all played very well.

Man what a difference from last year

is that skrines first in his career he is not a real big guy I hope he can stay injury free but odds are against him.

When they showed the replay of the play before Skrine came out, he had no contact with anyone that I could see. In fact, he appeared to stumble or lose his balance a bit, so I thought that he twisted an ankle or something sprain related. He must have been dinged in a preceding play.

Yep, exactly

I mentioned in the game when some one said he had a concussion I didn't think so. No contact.

he must have gotten dinged on the previous play and didn't tell the CS.

really worried about this - I see nickle and dime packages with Skrine as a key part of our effort to stop them from killing us with short/medium passes against our somewhat slow LB's. Without Skrine, it is next man up among the DBs - not bad, but he is a special nickle DB.

Of course it would be ideal to be at full strength, but it's just a reminder that our opponent isn't either.

Gotta hope McDougle or Williams steps up -- let's see just how deep that position really is . . .

i can't imagine skrine will play this week after a concussion on sunday. i'm confident in williams, and i hope he fills in if he is healthy.

We he is in red no contact jersey and playing and practicing which means he is in Stage 4 (of 5) of the concussion protocol. Each stage is a day, so if he practices fully tomorrow final step would be clearance by Jets doctors and the independent evaluators. However to be in Stage 4 today means he passed the baseline on Monday, possibly Sunday night as each step is a day, so him being cleared is likely.

Probably much greater than 50% chance he plays Sunday with the red jersey news.

if is allowed to practice with contact and has no adverse effects, he could be cleared to play. Hope so

He came out for he individual stuff (stretching etc.), but went back into the facility when they started team drills.

bad sign. Have to go through each step without adverse symptoms to be cleared. If he doesnt do full practice, he cant move on to the next step - I am 99% sure. (That for sure is common protocol, I assume NFL too)
