I think our results may be leading you to shade him where it is not warranted. The All 22 shows he is open all over the field all game long. If he was wearing any Jersey other than the Jets they would be singing his praises

When fitz had some of the worst QBs in nfl history he still dominated. Same with Maynard in his many early years without namath. Fitz only had warner & palmer for a few years..let's see if wilson can grow into this

Look don't you think I want Wilson to be the best! He is good in his fifth year. Harrison for the cards is fair at best not great like advertised.
One more thing Wilson has already missed more games in four years then fitz did in 17 years
I wonder how some of these pretty boys would have made out in the 5os, 60s & 70s
Those players are all before my time but that being said Wilson has the tools and remember he put up 3 straight 1000+ seasons with no QB to speak of, so he has shown he can and is successful regardless of everything else going on around him.
Last year he was injured unfair to judge anything there. Geno seems to be more comfortable with AD, but Garrett has been playing as expected when we can actually move the ball.

Injury's are not a plus..... But last year 19 rec,s had a 1000 yards .....a 1000 yards in this day & age is nice but not great.

WR and QB were a different breed
They could y just run free down field having an illegal constants, PI , or roughing call . Same with WBs if you rennet how the games were played , One reason I loved Joe Willie took a pounding and kept on going .
I’m sure he also gave out lots of pounding but that’s another story
I don’t know what to say or what to think here at this point. I’m pretty much losing all hope and faith in this team doing anything worth talking about this year. I realize now I never should had faith in this team in the first place.
I’m waiting for the Geno Smith true downfall in his play or the almost certain injury and I’m truly looking forward to seeing Cade Klubnik play. I want to see what he can be for this team. A savior or just another guy!
Seems pretty apparent to me that Aaron Glenn is going to get fired somewhere along the line. So we might as well get to seeing which young players mainly, can help this team next year and who cannot.

Perhaps Klubnik should come in and play the rest of the season. Look, I know most if not all will not agree with me on this but Geno has gotta go. He’s either playing too timid, scared and careful but he doesn’t give you enough to put you over the top.
Or he’s the turnover machine that’s he’s been most of his NFL career. Which isn’t good for any team either. My point being is that we all knew that Geno wasn’t the answer but we knew he was better than anyone we had as of recent. This leaves us in limbo.
The Jets don’t have the 1998, 2009 or 2010 defense. A QB like Geno would probably have worked with those teams but not with this one. I don’t know if Klubnik can do better but the Jets need to find out with a significant amount of games before the end of the season.
