Absolutely
Call me crazy but I believe that Klubnik can actually get him the ball and if he can’t, it’ll be more understandable and acceptable. Plus, if they ever had to go back to Geno they could. Geno knows that he’s a journey man and he’s not the answer and Klubnik is a four round pick. So if Klubnik doesn’t turn out to be the answer, there’s no love lost. Just my crazy way of thinking, I guess!

I’m with you on this 1,000 percent. How do we know that the OC especially and HC didn’t scheme up many plays deliberately to get the ball the past two weeks to GW5 and Geno just didn’t do it. It looked to me from that Dolphins @ Jets video clip that Wilson was screaming directly at Geno and Geno was blatantly ignoring him. Must be something there!
This has been debunked. Wilson was screaming at Seth Ryan, who was in contact with Reich in the booth, and Ryan was replying 'I know, I know'.

Trouble with this 'Geno is not the answer' stuff is defining what the question is. If the question is 'Who is most likely to win games now?', Geno may well be the answer. Also he isn't at the end of his career, other guys far older are still playing. Other teams focus on winning now, not what might happen in a few years. Thing is we have all these draft picks next year and all the hype says we are taking a QB. It would be dumb to do this without looking at Klubnik. Glenn needs to win now to have any chance of keeping his job, so it is not an easy choice for him unless Geno helps by imploding or getting injured, or if there is a blowout one way or the other which allows Klubnik on for mop up duty.

Not from my view point. Looked to me like it was directly at Geno. Of course I could be wrong, so it is what it is. I feel like they are just trying to publicly play it down!

Everything you’re saying here I can agree with. Only problem is the Jets have already lost five games and probably on the way to the sixth. We all know that they are going to lose to Kansas City and the Buffalo after that. That’s a guarantee!

Yes it’s true that statistically Geno stats are saying something but the win-lose total is saying something else. It’s not all on the coaches and the defense. The team needs a spark and Klubnik could be that spark. Like you said to an extent, it would be idiotic to draft a quarterback without knowing what Klubnik has to offer.

So what is Glenn waiting for? IMO, not getting Klubnik in there with a crop of games left to see what he has is insane. Instead of two or three, when it doesn’t matter anymore and players are waiting for the offseason and to go on vacation.

One more thing, what you’re saying about Geno not necessarily being at the end of his career and having more years to play like other quarterbacks can be misleading. These quarterbacks that are old and still playing are either Hall of Fame bound or garbage and really not expected to play anyway unless the starters get hurt.

That’s not the situation with Geno. The Jets are depending on him and he’s just not coming through. He’s not doing what’s necessary to take them to the next level. That’s just the facts and it’s plain and simple! We can’t deny it any longer.
