Let's face it, the Pats are the gold standard, players plug into their system until contract time, then the Pats wisely move them for new low-cost draft assets to develop. They draft a 7th round QB who turns out to be the greatest QB ever. However, I do think they are not immortal, but where the Pats can easily win by playing at 80% level, the Jets need to be playing 99% mistake-free football to have a chance. I think Darnold can surprise them. I hope to write back on Tuesday to celebrate this Jet win.
I had higher hopes of the Jets winning, but the shitty OL is basically all injured especially Alex Lewis doesn't play.

Also Brady is not the QB he used to be. When was the last time you saw him slinging the long ball? I think his deep pass is gone and at age 42 that's not a surprise, He can no long sling the ball all over the field and has become a game manager type QB. That's the good news. The bad news is he is the best game manager the NFL has ever seen as his short and intermediate passing is still laser accurate, But with the dogs the Jets have at CB throwing the ball down field is what's needed to expose them, so the Pats new style of offense actually helps the Jets. That and Josh Gordon being out. BTW isn't he due to fail a drug test? I mean that degenerate junkie can't possible last the season.

I wince every time I see TJ on the field. He must be the softest cover in the league. I hope Williams rips him a new one because Brady is damn smart, and if you give him a freebie 10 yard route, he'll play TJ like an endless loop all night long until Williams pulls him out of the game.
