It's better to play the patriots late this season. The Jets get them at home late in the season right after a bye week and a patriots trip to San Francisco.
The Jets schedule looks brutal early though.
thanks for the detailed response.. i definitely have a much better understanding of how & why you love the jets & the cards..Every play is to be a good play!
It is like Ken & Clete's Boyers parents in the 64 WS. You are for both teams both sons.
I can defend this one very easy. Many on here I am sure are a big college fan of one team as well as a big fan of a pro team. My nephew went to ND & loves them & he is a big Giants fan also. No problem because they don't play each other.
In 1964 My dad had season tickets to the giants (I never liked them the team not the tickets). The Cards came in to play the Giants & because I loved the baseball team I loved the Cardinals. Same year he took me to see the Cards in the World Series playing the yanks. The Ken Boyer Game!
It turns out that same week as the WS He took me to see the Jets at the brand new Shea stadium play the chargers. I fell in love with the wide open AFL the NY Jets & the league. It was fresh!!!
So really that same year I fell in live with the Cards baseball, The Cards football & the Jets.
At that time they did not play each other & had different rules like college. That's the story!
Now as far as the killer B's I started liking hockey with Jacques Plante (Blues) & Bobby Orr Bruins when the played each other in the cup finals. But that one is hard to defend. I guess it is like dating a beautiful set of twins. You fall for both! LOL
It was hard this year when the Blues played the Bruins because losing that last week could knock the Bruins out. I was not sure until game time but I did what I always do & every play was good. Turned out the Bruins won but still missed out LOL.
You see you ask a simple question & get a long answer LOL
Bottom line it is fun except 2012 when all plays were bad in that game LOL
Now I am sure most on here think I favor the cards over the Jets It is furthest from the truth. With the Cards I love what they are doing now. They may never win a SB but they think like I do. With the Jets I don't feel the same way today but I have not seen as much. The Jets are trying & when it comes to game time I will be there for both teams. It must be my love for Christmas. I love Green & Red.
Ok the truth I have been to more Jets games then cards games. I have had season tickets to the Jets not the Cards but I bought Sunday Ticket for the cards not the Jets. I saw the cards play first. but I grew up in NY & I have never been to STL or Arizona.....So you can all analyze away LOL
In The mean Time GO BLUES
thanks for the detailed response.. i definitely have a much better understanding of how & why you love the jets & the cards..
no analyzing necessary..![]()
Its funny I love that the Blues are playing the Blackhawk down team first. They have folded the last few years in the first round. If they do it again so be it. But if they win the cup you have beaten the best. It reminds me of Andre the giant send in one send in five send in all. He just tossed them out of the ring. When you are good you beat them all. Except for that fixed match with hulk hogan:global (7): I have never recovered since King kong beat Godzilla.....No way that fat ape would have beaten the slim trim fire breathing Godzilla:global (47):
Ok But at times I do like easy! This year I am into beating the best all of them.
Well I said that because statistically it looked to me like Brady was starting to show his age last season. I think he'll fade down the stretch.
