I will say, LaFleur looked like he was constantly trying to fit square pegs into round holes, while San Fran seems to just plug in “name next up” and is extremely successful.

Not saying they won't sign him. They are definitely interested obviously but they will find it very difficult to do. Their cap situation is much, much worse than the Jets. Last I heard they were 60+ mil over the cap.

I’m assuming they agreed to some king of package with the Raiders, which is why they granted them access to meet.
Not sure what will happen, but they have started the process.
