Earlier today on NFL Network, Garafolo said the Jets (supposedly) were in it until the end. Either JD couldn't close the deal or Carr was more interested in NOLA. Looks like steak knives.

Guess I'm a bigger dunce. I've been stuck with them since 1960 when they played at the polo grounds. If we don't get Rogers it's because of Rogers lacadaisial attitude towards everyone's concerns but his own. Carr could have held out for a little longer without hurting his position if he was really interested in the Jets just in case Rogers did show his intentions. Something odd there, like maybe he got some inside info.

I really wanted Carr because he would not cost picks and was younger than Rodgers. Jets dodged a bullet by starting a LT as old as their new QB. Jets will always do Jet things, but I guess we dodged a bullet by Carr picking a different team I guess. Always thought we would be a playoff team with Carr. He sucks now or maybe always did. I was wrong.
He looked pretty damn bad last night LOL. But he hasn't looked like that all season and he's a bit banged up (he has been getting whopped all season). I think it was more of a "bad night" than a "Carr sucks now" situation.
Well he is not $40M/year better than Zach.
I saw a Carr who was frustrated with both receivers out of position and coaches play calling last night. At various points, he was screaming at the OC and HC. We can only imagine the problems. Then, Moreau--who has had to deal with his serious health issues--misses a dream end zone TD to tie the game.
I still believe Carr can play. He's been beat up a bit. But like the situation in JAX before Pederson arrived, I believe Carr needs a better OC/HC.
