CB issues and Byron Jones May be the answer

Now that the Cowboys have signed Zeke Elliot to this mega deal. It’s obvious they are going to pay Prescott next. Goff got his mega deal also so they will base it off that. They were talking about it on ESPN Get Up show this morning on who is going to left out of the mix of getting paid. Cowboys have paid just about everyone of importance except for Prescott, Cooper and B. Jones. The oline, dline, LBs and now Zeke is straight so now who else gets paid and who gets left out?

They’re guessing it will be Byron Jones. Makes sense because they have to pay Amari Cooper because not only is he playing well but they gave up a first round pick for him. So if this plays out that way, the Cowboys will want to trade him, rather then lose him. He’s 26 years old and a excellent CB. I don’t know his contract status, whether or not this is his last year etc-etc but this could or if this is a possibility, the Jets need him and they should look into going to get him. Thoughts!

As much as it pains me to say this, but the Cowboys are loaded. Jones could be had fir the reasons you listed. They talk about it daily on the radio down here. I wouldn't mind giving up a 3rd round pick.

Don’t think it’s about whether or not the Cowboys can afford to pay Jones. Ofcourse they can, Jerry Jones is probably one of the most famous and richest professional sports owner in the world. It’s about the cap and that is there problem.
