i'm sure cro is as well but it would be stunning if he's not our second CB this season, wouldn't it??

fitzpatrick starting, at least "publicly" is still to be determined..

Not sure what any this has to do with my original point of Fitz and Cro being around to help other players get up to speed on the systems is a big advantage.

No team goes injury free, but the roster depth is much improved from what we are used to.
Very true, the depth on this team is light years better than its been in recent years, EXCEPT OT, you can't fix everything in one off season and thats the spot where we are still perilously thin. We can sustain an injury at just about every other position, but if Brick goes down (Please God, NO), we're in big trouble.

We desperately need brick to stay healthy, and it would be helpful if he had a bounce-back year too.

Id say OL and QB he couldnt fix this year. It is what it is. Next year's draft will be filled with OLs and QB though, setting up nicely for us. And its not 2 QBs, there will be about 5-6 go rd 1 I bet, with 4 being top 10 talents and all the 6'3+ 210+ variety (only Goff is 210, the rest are 220+). I do like next year's draft class a lot too.

Sports science has really helped players develop and deeper draft classes.
