I disagree about his style. I think his running style is a bad match for his own body. That's why we traded for him, he's such a tease.

You see him healthy, and he's the most brutal back in the league, then next week he is in for 5 plays because his hammy belongs on a90 year old. It's what keeps his contract low, and keeps us on the hook every year. Catching lightning in a bottle keeps him employed.

So in your opinion, do you resign him and split time with Powell or another back? Limit his carries so he can be fresh throughout the season or do you just cut ties?

E, i know you didn't ask me but i would say no to all of the above..

i'm a fan of ivory but i would be very disappointed if we re-sign him for all of the reasons mykcuz mentioned..

that, & he's almost on the wrong side of his 30th birthday.. LOLz. NFL RB's wise, of course..

i'm hoping a re-signed powell splits time with some kid in the draft..

man, we have a lot of ways we can use the 20th pick & i mean that in a good way.. i trust mac, so i'm excited to see who we get..

I agree with you completely. I hope the Jets follow this route. Let some other team overpay for Ivory. It's all about the line and scheme in my opinion. Ivory didnt fit the scheme as much as Powell did.
