C.J Mosley impressed me this year especially after a two year layoff.
▪︎ 2nd overall in NFL Solo Tackles (with 103).
▪︎4th in NFL Total Tackles combined (with 168)!
☆ Both were career highs for him.
And what's scary is that A.) He was only shaking off the rust (from a two year layoff) and B.) He was Middle Linebacking behind a non explosive edge pass rusher.
Outside of Joe Burrow who's more deserving of the NFLs Comeback Player of the Year award other than C.J. Mosley himself?
He was also an excellent mentor for Quincy Williams @ LB and I believe that the best has yet to come because @ only 29 years old and with an improved D-Line (edge pass rusher); I have a good feeling that he'll absolutely dominate next season while making his 5th All-Pro next year.
And the more I think about it?
We just might have to eat his salary and keep him for our 2023 season too (while heading into Zach Wilson's 3rd year) and that's because if we're a Re-Vamped roster and a playoff contender come 2023? C.J. Mosley could become the heart and soul of our (potential) Playoff-Defense.
If 2021 was a sign of things to come? He's too good to throw away.
