So, in 5-6 weeks, 100% surgery will be recommended and Mosley IR'd. Why waste all this time?

blame C Johnson for this mess - how the hell did he let previous GM conduct the draft? What a colossal blunder. Now he's given everyone a free pass this year to screw up with no consequence. How can you not give the HC/GM another shot unless they are judged on players they bring in. Don't get me wrong, I think Gase is brutal, but you better have some standards or you won't attract anyone of substance to take this job down the road (after 2020 season).
Until they hired Douglas--and some would say he still pulls the strings today--Gase was acting as both HC and GM. I would argue that most of the blame for what we see on the field and in the locker room falls on the Little King's (Gase's) shoulders.
Who cares. He had one great half of football.
This season is over. Why postpone the surgery? In case we need him for the playoffs?
If by some miracle we are actually in contention, he plays and gets hurt worse....
