They seem to be using him as a blocking TE and haven’t really gotten him involved in the passing game.
Honestly, with the emergence of Wilson (Garrett) there is only one ball and limited attempts. Other than check-downs and outlet passes, I really don’t see us extensively using the TEs ( too many receivers to spread it around to)

It’s Lafleur, he has tunnel vision, which is why we keep throwing the ball 50 times a game.
TE reduced production came with his tenure, he just isn’t game planning properly with the offense (also why we have no play action game to speak of either)
Partly because they didn't have a tight end who we could count on to catch the ball and also because the tight end was needed to pass protect. I hope that will change as the OL gets back the missing pieces.
And while we haven't been noticing, Conklin has been putting up an 700-800 receiving yard year.

Conklin is actually tied for 3rd in receiving yards and 1st in receptions, on the team, so he has been getting work in.
The Jets are targeting the TE position. It’s all Conklin. No Uzomah. It’s really baffling. Uzomah was active in the Bengals offense.
