I do think the Jets should make a run at one of the top WRs in Free Agency. That will help attract Cousins too if that's the guy they really want. If they added a Sammy Watkins to go along with Enunwa and Kearse (assuming they resign him), that's a pretty solid group right there. I really like Allen Robinson, always did. Thought he was the best receiver in his draft class. He'd be great too, IF he's healthy. Which is why I think Watkins is a better fit. Enunwa is coming off an injury too.

I don't see the Jets standing still. Honestly, I think the most likely moves are either:

1. Sign McCarron and draft a QB in a later round (Rudolph in the second?), or
2. Trade for Foles.

Cousins would want a mint from the Jets, and want them to overpay.

Honestly would hate both Scenarios.
Would prefer Bridgewater over Mccarron.
Foles isn't worth the Eagles asking price. 1st and 4th for a JAG who has been pretty inconsistent and will also demand a ransom from the Jets for a long term deal.

Bridge QB. Whoever they draft isn’t going to be ready immediately. He’s not the long term solution there.

Maccagnan has always tried to have the roster filled out, to some extent, so he can go into the draft with out drafting for "need" per se.
If Cousins doesn't come to the Jets, I believe, Bridgewater will be the back up plan. If he is strike two, then maybe McCarron, Bradford. Depending on their contract demands.
McCown should be brought back as a solid #2, especially if Cousins isn't signed.
The drafting at #6 for a QB will happen, except if Cousins is signed. Any other QB signed and it's a QB round one. I'd like Darnold first, then I'd want Mayfield. I think Allen is too much of a project w/ accuracy and such. We have one already in Hackenberg. Rosen for all his talents scares me medically. I don't want another Pennington. Signs of greatness knocked out by injuries,concussions.

Rosen and Darnold are still my top choices. They just look like NFL QB’s to me. Allen is getting a lot of hype right now after the combine performance, but the completion % and down year scare me. (I know, his supporting cast sucked last season). Mayfield is boom or bust to me. He’s either the next Favre or he’s gonna flame out quickly IMO.

It’s looking like the Jets are going to have to move up a few spots if they like one of these guys, which really sucks. The vultures are circling overhead right now (Buffalo, Miami). They’ll be burning up the phone lines with Indy and Cleveland trying to move up.

When you’ve gone 1-68 (or whatever it is) over the last two years, the GM is trying to whip up a feeling among the fan base that change is on the way. They’re certainly shaking things up. You have to when your organization has completely screwed everything up in recent years.

I like the Landry pickup and the CB from GB. I don’t think Tyrod Taylor is all that great, though.

When I went back to look, it wasn't there. That's why I thought it may have been deleted. Maybe I hit something accidentally (a senior moment)(, but it would have been in auto-save for me to recover and it wasn't there either. Strange. I blame the Patriots.
