How could the players have ANY confidence in this idot?! That punt that Bowles called down two scores should be when the gavel fell for everyone. That is the worst fucking call. There's no doubt in my mind at this point he's lost the players altogether. Mac will be fielding questions about Bowles future pretty soon........HOPEFULLY starting this week...........

So who's out there for possible coaching replacements? Personally, I would like to see Bowles fired and Chan Gailey promoted to interim HC for the remainder of the season. Next offseason I would like to see Mac interview MIKE WESTHOFF and hire him if he's interested in the job. Mac should also inquire about veteran SB winning coaches to possibly hire.......
What I find crazy is that he thinks he's coaching the 85 bears but our defense is a turd

Todd Bowles just said in his press conference that he supports his decision to PUNT on 4th and 2...........It's not a mistake or so he says.........
Awful job. In two years, Bowles really hasn't beaten a legit good team or coach. Had his chances, but the team never steps up.
Lets go with an Offensive coach for a change. Todd Haley may deserve another shot.

I still think Mike Westhoff deserves a shot. He's been a legendary ST coach and I think he would make an EXCELLENT HC. Honestly, I think hiring Mike Westhoff would be thinking outside the box and that is exactly what this team needs.........
i love Westhoff but he's pushing 70 and his health is an issue and i don't think he can handle the demand of a HC position.

When he punted that showed the players he has NO faith in them offensively and rightly so because 3rd Qs and 2nd halfs this team has disappeared. As a conservative coach - and that is what he is - he played the percentages and hoped his GASSED D could make at least one stop. They didn't.
I am not defending him because IMHO there is no defense for how this team is playing since the Cincy game. I like consistency on the CS but clearly this team is not playing to its potential - see Cincy/bills games . What is really disgusting is the lack of accountability , holding players and coaches accountable for their poor play or coaching decisions.
What is more troublesome for me at least is the no one seems upset by losing... I mean you hear the platitudes but that is as far as it goes...
