I don't see how or why people aren't giving Cobb more credit when he caught 91 passes for 1300 yards just about and 10 plus tds. That wasn't all A. Rodgers you know, Cobb had something to do with obtaining those kind of stats. The year before I believe Cobb about 70 passes. I maybe wrong about that but you get my point. Point being is why are people acting like Cobb is Santanio Holmes or something. He is a legimate #2 WR at the least. Just as good or better then Decker and we can't go wrong with that. I won't dispute that Maclin is a #1 bonafied WR but Cobb is a excellent #2 if not a bonafied #1 at 24 years old as well.I would try to sign Maclin, perhaps Cobb (though I'm not convinced he's more than a WR3), but keep Harvin until the deadline. If you land Maclin, cut Harvin. But don't act on Harvin until you have to.

Andre Johnson will be available too.

Can't argue that. I say offer Cobb what we offered Decker and if that's low balling him then offer him about 2 mil more mostly because he is younger. He is only 24 yrs old so offering him alittle more makes sence but we shouldn't get ridiculious with it. Look at it like this, is Brown the product of Big Ben alone or is Brown that talented. Just because Brown is small like Cobb I think people are short changing Cobb but I don't they would do that to Brown becuase they fell he is that talented. Lets not forget that Brown has no other real threats yet on the field with him. The rookie they drafted last year is up and coming real fast but not there yet. Cobb has a legit #1 WR in Nelson that gets tons of balls thrown at him which takes away from Cobb getting 30-40 more balls at him a year.If you view him as a legitimate starting, #2 WR, how much do you offer Cobb?
And if the Decker signing was bashed as rewarding a guy for his QB, the same will be the case for Cobb.
He's a definite #1 , but he's also a short-term fix at his age. If you're a team like the Jets, do you opt for the short-term guy, or do you seek a more long-term guy as a starting WR?

Johnson will be a Pat!!
Johnson will be a Pat!!
Then Revis will not be.
Can't afford everyone.
God I hope not. He'd be the best WR they had since Moss.

I guess I don't get it with Maclin. Why is he considered to be so great? What kind of money are we talking? $10 mil per? Doesn't seem worth it to me.
