Well...............
Age 42- yep, for sure a negative
Injured all of last season,- not his fault, and in spite of popular belief it wasn't just his age. It was also lousy protection that would have likely affected a younger QB as well, and to his credit he played through those injuries.
Played injured this year & it showed. - yep, agree here as well.
Depends on the coach & gm & oc. Three new people- absolutely true.
Will the ol be better???? I think so. I believe that the "O" line needs mostly a younger right tackle. Moses is an excellent player but his age and ability to stay healthy has been a detriment. The others if healthy, Fashanu, Simpson, Tippman, and AVT are reliable starters but we need more QUALITY depth. A really good all purpose TE to pair with Conklin would be beneficial as well.
If things go south from the start the fans will go nuts. Who can take another year of the same? I know i cant have a repeat. - Hell...........we Jets fans are so fed up and stressed that we will go nuts either way, so, that's a wash.
He may want out if a good team comes along. Can you blame him? - No, but I think he's a man of his word and he said IF he plays in 2025 he would like it to be with the Jets.
I do question if his heart is still in the game or not- I do believe that his heart is still in the game. It's his body that is giving him reservations.
IF this is too long for you Bigmoe it simply means we are both on the fence about his return.
