I really dislike the Panthers
Not crazy about Cam as a personality, but they look like a really good team.
I really dislike the Panthers
Why Mo? They are a well built team built in the traditional style. They play tough defense and can run on anyone. Cam's development is the x factor.
This team is the true rags to riches story. Carolina was really bad last year. Before going on a four game winning streak to end their year last season, Carolina was 3-8-1 and ended up 7-8-1. Rivera was so close to getting fired and Newton was in a car crash that almost took his life. This year, their best playmaker in Kelvin Benjamin goes down.
I think the car crash really humbled Newton and now he goes out there trying to have as much fun and enjoy the moment as much as possible. That's the disconnect that people have right now and don't like Newton. He's having fun but people see it as him mocking the other team.
Not trying to change your opinion but those are the reasons why i like Panthers and I wouldnt oppose them winning it all.
Both the Panthers and Broncos don't bother me. Whoever wins it is well deserved. F the Cheats!

There should be NO penalty for excessive celebration as long as BS like the Lambeau leap was officially exempted from the rule as "grandfathered in"Might as well ban the Lambeau leap as well..... What's the difference? That's staged too

I prefer calling it "The JetLife Leap",EliasDecker started his own version of the MetLife Leap. I like it!
It has military codes because it is a game based on army tactics originally. Also, for generations, veterans were apart of the game, and valued things like honor and respect.Dude is playing a game, not curing cancer. If he wants to dance while running an oblong shaped ball made from pigskin past a yellow line.... So be it.
The whole game is about entertainment. Yet football has this weird set of rules governing exactly how much you can celebrate.
It is dumb how people attach some sort of "code" to it that's similar to some military tradition. Newsflash... One is life and death, one is a kids game played by adults.
Since we are talking about stadiums, I wish MetLife had been the naming sponsor of the new Mets park, instead of Citi.
For that matter, I wish JetBlue had been the naming sponsor of the new Jets/Giants stadium.

Old school guys like me (I'm 31) view behavior as acting respectful to the Game and your peers. It's about not shining the spotlight on yourself in a team sport. It's a mentality that today's players know almost nothing about.
I've accepted that we have passed that era, Barry sanders used to be rare for acting like he's been there before in the end zone, and that was 20 years ago.
Now I'm just happy that it's illegal to taunt the opponent.
But honestly, it's dumb as hell when these idiots celebrate anything when they're down 20-0. Your team is playing like shit, what the hell are you celebrating?
