Congrats to Ex-Jets Center Kevin Mawae again a Hall of Fame semifinalist

The Pro Football Hall of Fame on Tuesday announced its 25 semifinalists for this year's class.

Five former Jets players are on the list: quarterback Brett Favre, offensive guard Alan Faneca, safety Steve Atwater, cornerback Ty Law, and center Kevin Mawae.

Out of that group, Mawae spent the longest time with the Jets. Nobody else in that group of five is even close.
Mawae was a semifinalist last year, in his first year of eligibility, but he didn't make the cut to 15 finalists.

Non of the other 4 will go in as a Jet for sure. Even though Mawae played here 8 years I think, I wonder if he will.

Kind of agree with LGM, Mawae was a good player, but I don't see him as a HOF'er

I'd like to see Kleco on that also. Mawae was a top Center that pulled clean off to run Block. He was amazing to watch at Center for Jets with speed & Power. He was one of the Best Centers I've seen. Name one better off Jets. Not Mangold, he isnt close to Mawae .
