Since he’s under rookie contract, he will be back unless someone actually offers something good for him which I can’t see happening

He has also missed big chunks of the last two seasons with injuries that one would expect from his style of play. The older he gets and the more lower body injuries he sustains, the less valuable he becomes. He also wants stupid money, I’d pass on him. Rather see Garoppolo with Wilson as the understudy.

Jackson is a UFA. Was drafted with Allen, Mayfield, and Darnold. I think he will get the tag if they cant reach a deal.
They will tag him for as long as possible to avoid the long term commitment because of the injury risk.
Does it make more sense to keep Wilson if it means there is no spot for White, or would it be better to find whatever value you can for Wilson and bring back White, who even his detractors admit is an ideal backup QB?
Lamar finished his contract with the Ravens. Turned down $250mm over 5. Too rich for our blood, and he is overpricing himself I think.

Jackson is a hard pass for me! Jimmy G or Dalton because neither will cost draft capital. Carr is better than what we have, but only if released.
Jackson can’t be a hard pass TCT! Yes he will require a trade and a huge pay day but he’s a beast! His biggest problem is his health. We’ll never know if he can get that under wraps but if he can, HOW COULD YOU NOT WANT HIM?
He’s still very young, drafted the same year as J. Allen, Mayfield and Darnold. A league MVP, so he’s a proven superstar player. He’s a passing and a running threat. He’s pretty accurate and has a gun. He has it all in one package!
He’ll literally throw for over 3,000 yards and 20 plus TDs and run for 700-1,000 plus yards and run for another 5-10 TDs. Imagine that on this team with Breece Hall, Garrett Wilson, Elijah Moore, Micheal Carter and our TEs.
How could you not be rooting for this, I don’t get it???
I’ll go with Lamar Jackson first ofcourse. Then Carr and last Jimmy G. Either way, I’ll take a cheerleader or a janitor to QB this team before I’d say bring back Zach Wilson!
