Could Be Ben's Last Game "In" Pittsburgh

Not a done deal yet, but all things are pointing to this being Big Ben's last year. That would make his last game at Heinz this weekend.

i always thought he was a throwback to the 70's and 80's. i don't recall too many times he slapped the ground for a no roughing the pansy call like TB12.

at any rate, i thought it was worth mentioning.

Yeah my son is a Steelers fan and he’s got mixed emotions. Probably mostly because that team doesn’t really have a contingency plan for the position. Should have signed Lameus Winston last off season before he latched on with the Saints .

Watched the whole game! it was nice to see The PITT Faithful give him a nice send off.

one could argue that Manning was as good w/ 2 SB's, but IMO, I'd take him over Rivers, Manning every day.

I'm not some Me-Too fanatic, but amazing to me how quickly people forget his history of sexual assault. Yeah he wasn't charged for the 2010 allegation because of lack of evidence (NFL suspended him for 4 games), and he settled a separate 2008 charge out of court. The guy is a creep and gets a pass because he's Big Ben. Big what, dick, jerkoff, predator? screw him. Too bad he didn't get the Deshaun Watson treatment.

i am not certain that anyone has forgotten those allegations, and settling outside of court is something that high profile people do to stop headlines from further promulgation more so than an act of desperation to avoid the justice system.

that being said, there was a lack of evidence in the 2010 case. i am not a me too fanatic either, but i do believe in bringing cases forward from an alleged victim's standpoint, and it being treated with sobriety. at the same time, the accused should be afforded due process before being convicted in the court system and/or the court of public opinion.

i am not claiming his vindication or guilt, nor impugning the alleged victim's motives, but these cases might have been those of attempting to take advantage of (at the time) a young, wealthy person's immaturity in handling his new found fame and fortune...we just do not know.

serial offenders never stop; they are broken. so, do to the fact, he hasn't been in the papers for this type of misconduct/crimes since leads me to be able to give him the benefit of the doubt.

The first incident he reported a TV malfunction in a hotel room and when the hotel person (woman) came to address the issue he proceeded to rape her according to her story. The 2nd incident he followed the 20 year old student into a woman's bathroom and according to her story raped her. I understand that some unscrupulous folks try to scam wealthy individuals who jump at a little bit of attention. I just choose not to glorify someone who, according to the two stories I mentioned, raped these two women against their wishes. At some point you have to recognize a pattern of behavior.

It looks like a hit piece. There is enough stuff to criticize Roelisberger about without resorting to name calling, which makes all his points suspect.

I'm not a fan of the allegations, but if a QB wins me two SB's I will forgive a lot. Its not my family member being a piece of shit so I don't care if they are a piece of shit. I just assume most of them are and move on with my life.
