Yep.
Check back to see if NostraHYATT™ is still scoring 100%.

It's just HYATT™'s way of reminding people they REALLY shouldn't take issue with the less obvious stuff he posts.
It's not that HYATT™ minds being questioned - always happy to explain the reasoning - but it DOES take up a lot of extra time when people refuse to believe the obvious and have to have it spelled out.

I'm predicting it will snow somewhere in Alaska this March. I'll be back to remind everyone how smart I am later because of my inferiority complex.

I don't know why anyone would want him back. This team needs to get younger . The coaches said it at the end of the year. You don't get faster as a team with a bunch of thirty year olds. Time to move on

Good point. Team speed needs to improve. That's why it's time to move on from Pace, too.

The idea that Cro doesn't like to get physical is nonsense.
CBs aren't in the business of enforcement, they are in the business of finessing.
CBs who like to play rough, usually end up costing their team their services, because they end up getting injured right along with the WRs and TEs they attempted to intimidate.

That little canard disposed of, HYATT™ keeps wondering if it isn't time for Cro to turn Safety.
CBs usually don't want to hear the dreaded "S" word because it means they are either no longer good enough to be considered a CB worthy of the big dollars, or they are getting too old and their career is about over.
Either way, Cro has to realize his megabux days are over.
Better to get a couple mil for playing Safety than to sit at home with 11 kids and 8 baby-mommas screaming at you to go get a job, all day long.
Just a general thought, not a bid for his return.

He would be an excellent KR

Except for that 85% or so touchbacks thing that has pretty much eliminated the need for a KR in the NFL

Cant return punts either since he would be signalling fair catch before the ball was actually kicked to avoid getting hit

Maybe the Packers can grab him up as a S or CB since their DBs are about the worst in the NFL

Cutting him was the obvious move. But be careful what you ask for, Williams had a good year playing in dime packages. That doesn't make him a number 1 or 2. Skrine will stay in the slot since that is his specialty.

So with Revis playing at a number 2 caliber, and an unproven starting cb in Williams doesn't make for a fearsome cb unit, and it predicated on Williams being a number 1 or 2.

Cro can certainly still play in the nfl.he is a number 1cb with chronic hip problems. He admitted he was cheating on plays because of his injury. He tried jumping routes but had no catch up speed. He played the gambler last year to compensate for his hip.

Is he done forever, no. But he must rehab that hip, and will never again hit 8 million. If he can overcome this injury he will again be an aging starting caliber cb. Great for depth or free safety role.

Uh huh.
The 4th best "completion percentage against" secondary in the league is just about the worst in the NFL.
The 4th fewest "passing plays over 20 yards allowed" secondary in the league is just about the worst in the NFL.
The 6th fewest passing yards allowed secondary in the league is just about the worst in the NFL.
The 6th fewest passing TDs allowed secondary in the league is just about the worst in the NFL.
The #7 "QB passer rating against" secondary in the league, (right after the #6 Jets), is just about the worst in the NFL.
The 9th best INT secondary in the league is just about the worst in the NFL.

LGM. you DO understand we are talking about FOOTBALL, not Fotbahl, here, right?
Or do you only watch the Jets and not understand a single thing about what's ACTUALLY going on in the NFL during the season?

No brainer cutting him... We have Williams ready to take the next step.... We need to see if Milliner can stay healthy (last Chance) and consistently play at a high level that we have sen flashes of.... McDougle needs the practice time to grow into Williams spot..... I think we are fine still at CB..... Plus we can resign Crofor the veterans minimum for depth if we feel we need too.
