So sad that if this was last year or the year before I would be concerned but this year I really don't give a shit! Not that I don’t care about Sam's health but because it truly appears he's not our franchise guy. Doesn't even appear that he'll even be on the team next year, so what difference does it make. Another thing that's pretty annoying is that he can't stay healthy. He always seems to get hurt, whether it's his fault or not but he does miss a few games each year and that's a bit frustrating as well. Last year it was mono, the year before it was his ribs or a foot or whatever and now this.
I really wanted Sam to be our guy as we all did but I think it's time to face the facts that this just isn't the case. Yes it's not helping that he has the worst HC and coaching staff in NFL history, skilled players might be just as bad, oline has always been suspect as shit and the defense gets worse and worse each year. I get all of that but he still has to show something for us to hold on to and he is getting worse and worse as well. Well last year he looked pretty good towards the end of the year but this year it's pretty bad and doesn't seem that he'll get any better. Time to move on, I guess. DAMN!!!

At the end of the day, every single season there is some injury that takes Sam out for a few games. Time to move on, even if it's not all his fault and the organization did nothing to help him, he isn't able to stay healthy, so that removes him from Franchise QB consideration.
