I don't see it with Gipson either. Corley has been a ghost. I think He might need a red shirt. Sort of like what they did with McDonald. They didn't draft Corley for that imo. He was expected to contribute this season. Maybe AR put him on the no-fly list.
They will work him into the lineup around mid season. Typical Jets move.

This is more than likely true. But the second we drafted those 4, you knew this was coming…. All at the same time. We don’t have the cap room to pull off keeping all of them with their demands Of course you can franchise one of them (for up to a couple years) and with JJ coming off injury, might get a cheaper deal outta him, but Breece, Sauce and Wilson are all premium position players that aren’t cheap. They will pay Sauce because he is pretty consistent as a shut down corner….. but out of the remaining 2, Breece will come cheaper because he is a back. I like Wilson a lot, but in reality he will want WR 1 money, and really he is more like 3 (slot guy) He is too small, dances too much, and his YAC isn’t impressive. He ain’t Jamar Chase or AJ Brown…. Hell I don’t think he is even Devonta Smith
I think breece will be the first to go. RBs have a short shelf life and he is still under control through 2025 ,then can be tagged. Williams and Gardner are part of the teams future.
The big question is how does JD work out a contract extension before Adams arrives when he has been bullshitting that he never negotiated until a player proves themselves in green and white.
