Great time for the young LB's to get some reps and we just got way faster.
Interesting contrast between what fans and players think.
Revis and KC Rodgers are on record as saying he's one of the most important players on this defense.
& rogers & bowles are both on record that they believe the defensive line has played well.....
if you polled JFU before the season started, how many here, in your estimation wouldn't have guessed we wouldn't have a dominate defense this season??
i like harris, always have.. but i'm not buying into platitudes served up by the status quo..
does that make me wrong because i disagree??
taking things at "face value" can be a tricky thing to gauge.....

You're not wrong. This is an opinion forum, despite some fans asserting their God-like knowledge to the contrary regarding this team.
But if I had to put my faith behind what players say, versus what fans say, I'll go with players 90% of the time. Yes, players use smoke screens sometimes. But fans are full of hyperbole most of the time.
David Harris is not only a solid player but one of the leaders on this team... Has he lost a step or fifty yes but comes with age, he still is a productive middle linebacker but asking anyone to be effective in this hosh posh clash of a 3-4/4-3 defensive game plan is asking too much from anyone...
Expect him to be a cap casualty at the end of the season... If not traded simple release unfortunately and he will be picked quickly...
