I wonder who you'll pick in 4 more days?
Marshall at 15

Fitzpatrick at 14

Maynard and Namath obviously

Kerley 11

Chad 10

Petty or Hall 9

Lowery 8

Big question is whether it will be Kenny O or Boomer at 7

Looking at other teams schedules that have their first preseason game on Aug 13, looks like rookies on July 23 and veterans on the 30th?

Not sure.

Still says TBD on NFL.com and it looks like most camps won't open until July 29

Putting count on hold at T minus Vinny until the actual date is known

Two dates:

Rookies and QBs (week before start of camp) (tryout players??)
Veterans and start of official camp

So NFL lists start of camp and for each team rookies and QBs can show up a week earlier

Looks like July 29 is the day:

http://www.nj.com/jets/index.ssf/2015/07/jets_announce_opening_date_for_2015_training_camp.html

The Jets will begin their 2015 training camp on July 29. Rookies and veterans will both report that day.

The NFL on Tuesday released all teams' training camp start dates and locations, while noting that the first official camp practice typically happens the day after the veteran reporting date.

The Jets, in their first season under coach Todd Bowles, will no longer hold camp at SUNY Cortland in Central New York, but rather, at their facility in Florham Park.

More and more NFL teams in recent seasons have decided to stay home for camp. The Jets are one of 21 teams that will stay home for camp in 2015.

The Jets have yet to release any other details about their 2015 camp.

But now, at least, we know the reporting day for rookies and veterans.

I like Boomer a lot and hoped we had drafted him but we only got to see a few late years. IMHO it should be Kenny at 7

i say you go with Geno for optimistic reasons.

It'll play out in the preseason. If Fitz looks remarkably better, he'll play. And if Geno looks below average with Marshall, Decker, Kerley, Amaro, and Ivory versus vanilla defenses, he'll sit.

Let's just get through the offseason and preseason with as few injuries/suspensions as possible and the QB battle will play itself out. Gaily and Bowles will play the guy who gives us the best chance to win; but if its close at all, they'll give Geno more time to grow. We have enough offensive weapons so one QB should standout when you also factor in Devin Smith with the above names.

Geno has more rushing TDs then Kenny O and has won just as many post season games.

There aren't two dates, everyone reports on the 29th.

Correct

I think the last CBA negotiated a single report date and stipulated how many days prior to the first PS games it could be. Some teams still have rookies report prior to that official date

I believe only the 2 teams playing the Canton game(Steelers and Vikings) report earlier, still no earlier than 14 days before the first PS game
