I understand where your coming from but the Jets have looked very respectable at times after their Super Bowl win. Most recent is the Bill Parcels and the early Rex Ryan era. They also looked pretty decent during the early Herm Edwards era. This team maybe destined for heartache and pain but there are worse out there. Lions might be the only ones now that I’m thinking about it.

Parcells turned the team around immediately. because of who he was. there is not another Parcells out there. then we went back to sucking pretty darn quickly after he left

Rex brought some excitement and I liked him too, but never had faith in that team scoring or closing out a game defensiveky

There may not be another Parcells out there, but the Jets have passed on several experienced HC's over the years and put themselves in this hole.
