Read a few articles today that Decker wouldnt mind playing out of the slot. In fact, he's played there this off season until Devin Smith got hurt.

This explains to me why Kerley might not be getting the reps we all thought...

What do you think of Decker as a slot receiver?

Decker will get plenty of snaps out of the slot without being our slot receiver.

Have a hard time seeing Decker as a full time slot guy. Depending on circumstances they might put him there trying to create mismatches.

When all is said an done I think Kerley will still get the most snaps out of the slot. They have a ton of WR's in camp right now. Think they are just looking for better options, and trying to see what they have where.

Decker is one of only a few WRs who are equally dangerous in the slot and on the outside boundary routes.
He is by physique and nature a natural #3/"Z" flanker, but can handle #2/"Y"/slot duty with the best of them & about as dangerous as a good TE on shallow crossing routes that start outside and slant into the middle.

He is basically who idzik hoped Amaro would be.

He's a terrific athletic route runner. He's type a and giant. He ran between 40-50%of his routes in Denver, from the slot.
