So since he doesn't get this is my board and I allow heated discussions but don't want posters that criticize and at other members he needs to be silenced, sorry for all those that were affected mainly @Oraelo

I will now delete those couple of threads that he created no need to have that crap on this forum...
He will get a chance to come back but knowing how tough he is behind a computer screen sitting at desk in his house in St. Petersburg Florida he will continue to be bold and arrogant and will be banned permanently

Michael Carter - RB 4th round pick turned into number 1 on the depth chart improved week to week
Elijah Moore - WR 2nd round pick started off slow and quietly took over the number 1 receiver spot on the roster over Corey Davis
Alijah Vera Tucker - traded up to take at 14th overall... started slow and has emerged as the best OL we have and is Top 8 in the league at LG...

Zach Wilson was handed the job, played reckless and put himself into harms way where he was hurt... Sorry since then observing how the offense should be operated he came back and struggled... Instead of working on his deficiencies he keeps on playing his way... I am sorry but this shows more of his idea of what his job is rather than being that team player because as he is sacked how many OL run to his rescue, if any? When Mike White got hit, got sacked or ran the ball and went down either on his own or brought down, the OL were there and picked him up and made sure he was ok... This is not a sign you want from your team mates there is a disrespect going on behind the scenes... Media not really picking up on it, except for one he is the new guy taking over for Manish Mehta and he has been right so far...

Look I am not saying our roster is capable of supporting Zach but there is enough talent where he can be half way decent... If he could throw the short passes with touch, zip or velocity in the proper moments the run after catch would improve his statistics but I still feel he feels he needs to be the one to throw the sixty yard pass rather throw a five yard to a receiver or running back and have them gain 55 yards after the catch... He gets credited either way but I feel he has that HERO mentality and is not going to change... I wonder what Aaron Rodgers told him when they were talking before/after that preseason game...

This position one needs to be selfless, but a leader... Need to be willing to lift up the team while support the team... Seems like Wilson doesn't care or is disinterested when on the sideline he looks like he is enjoying the bird watching like Adam Gase did all last year... Had a couple guys sitting with him on the sidelines while they were heads in the notepads he was looking at the stars yet to be in the night sky...

This is a bad look almost as bad as Mark Sanchez swallowing a hotdog on the sideline or peeing into a bottle... I mean c'mon wtf...

1) either he can not or is not willing to execute this game plan
2) progression? there is none - that means they are doing nothing to fix his play

put it this way I asked friends, is he working with the receivers, running backs and/or tight ends to build chemistry with them outside the normal team practice? they respond are you kidding me he spends time hanging out in the QB room when he is not required to be on the field with the team...

I was like - straight dumb founded like seriously don't want to build up that continuity or chemistry with your fellow team mates... How are they going to know or learn how you throw in certain situations outside practice where that shit has no pressure... how you can improve your game if your not working on it to get it where it needs to be...

throw a 1000 passes not every day but twice or three times a week that receivers spend with the jugg machine you become the jugg machine those reps will wear out your arm but eventually you will be able to close your eyes and hit that 5 yard pass without thinking about it...
will allow you to realize the touch needed, or the zip needed and it will improve your body of work as you grow within the game plan with the players on the team and show them you want to be the leader...

being given the captain title as a pro, being handed the starting job doesn't earn you respect from your team mates...

GMF thank you for taking an action that will definitely reduce the recent amounts of animosity and hostility that has been on this site. But IMO one thing needs to be said. I understand that this is your board and do greatly appreciate all that you do here. However, the level of disgust that was reached today does not happen with only 1 person taking things too far. An argument or discussion reaching those heights takes at least two participants.
I have been here a long time and know some members here since before JFU was created. We are all here for one sole reason and that is our love and passion for the New York Jets. Differing opinions, thoughts and discussions are what makes boards like this one such a great place to talk about our mutual passion as long as it is done in a respectful manner by EVERYONE involved.

I was at the game today and agree that my faith that Zach is the one is definitely losing some ground. Being as at the game and able to watch what I wanted rather than what the broadcast wanted me to watch showed me a few things. Besides the absolute lack of a short game that has shown little to no improvement IMO, he just doesn’t have that pocket awareness and feel that the greats seem to naturally have. The intentional grounding play comes to mind. There appeared to be one of the RB’s crossing into the middle of the field. He was covered and would not have been a safe outlet however the pass was thrown so far from him that there was no way that the IG was not going to be called. We all know he can bounce a pass at the feet of a receiver up close which is what he should have done.
The most telling thing I saw though was something that has been discussed by GMF and others many times though. It does not seem as his teammates “have his back.” On the tipped almost interception, the second that the play was over before the delayed incomplete call, every single one of the lineman turned their backs on Wilson and started to walk away from him. Not one of them went to him as if to say my bad, or it’s ok kid interceptions happen. Just turned their backs and walked away. A QB needs to be a leader of at least the offensive side of the ball, and it does not appear that he is held in that regard AT ALL by his teammates.

first he was pissed at Zach for not signing his rookie deal now he is in love with Zach like he is the next coming of Jesus Christ or something...

as you can see in the game thread I stated as much was just discussing but then he ramped up so did I and I pushed to see how far he would go and he took the bait and thanks to @TebowCan'tThrow @SackExchange @butterscotch and several other members input I decided enough was enough he needed a timeout, so as the title of this topic states Merry Christmas is when the ban lifts and we will see if he comes back in hot or at all... If he comes back swinging then it will be a permanent ban...

he needed to be drafted into the right situation, this wasn't it...
simply stated as it is in my scouting report he is an improviser...

what that means is he moves the pocket and rolling out he will toss attempt to find the open man and toss it... his mentality is hero ball kind of like Aaron Rodgers always looking downfield for the big play... this works in two ways you have receivers that constantly can create separation and get open or your team mates will turn on you because you are playing a dangerous game of roulette... So far he has lost all his bank when the Patriots took him out, and they did that on purpose they actually showed us what type of person he is...

this offense, game plan is better suited for a pocket passer someone that can maneuver in the pocket as well climb the pocket and deliver up to the medium passing range of 30 yards and it is on the receivers either wide outs, running back or tight ends to make yards after the catch... we seen 3 quarterbacks do this successfully, that shows you that the rookie either doesn't give a shit or can not do it...

I did not even see that I had a PM until you mentioned it. I agree 100% that his vacation had to happen and agree that he must change when he returns. I just said something I thought needed to be said. Again I appreciate you and all that you do here.

Not you 1369 and I don’t want you to ban anyone . I was referring to DEC and Gastineau . Both guys love Wilson way more than they live the team and they make it a issue with anyone who disagree .

I get that you thought it was best for the site that you made the move today, but I didn’t want that .
