Deshaun Watson has decided he wants to play for the Cleveland Browns in a stunning change of events, per sources. Watson has informed the Houston Texans that he now is willing to waive the no-trade clause in his contract to be dealt to Cleveland.

Browns are giving Deshaun Watson a new deal, per sources. The $184M over the first four years of this contract is a $48M raise over the $136M he was scheduled to make over the same four years on the previous contract - a $12M a-year raise in that span.

It is now up to the Texans and Browns to finalize a trade agreement for Deshaun Watson. The Browns are trading three first-round picks, and two additional picks to the Texans for QB Deshaun Watson, per sources.

This deal is roughly 1/4 of the entire teams cap space….for a guy who missed all last year and will probably be suspended for the first 6 games. 1/4 of the cap space…. For 1 guy??? Is the rest of the team playing for 2-3 mm per guy??? What are they gonna do when Chubbs deal is up, or Garrets? How can the team upgrade personnel or even function for the next 4 years ?
