Devin Smith?

I was thrilled to see Smith catch a couple yesterday, and what was nicer was the reaction of his teammates who seemed to be very happy for the kid after the TD. Dan is correct in that it takes some WRs a while to get used to pro game, hopefully this is just the beginning of a very nice career. If so, we have a very good trio of complimentary WRs.

Guy had a nice game today. Man, he is an awkward catch of the ball, but any improvement is good improvement from a rookie with an early injury.

I agree about his teammates. They seemed genuinely excited for him. That was good to see.

The Kid isn't a bust.... I always say it takes 2-3 years for most players to develop.... hard to call anyone a but 11-12 games into their Rookie season.... Maybe after Game 11-12 into year 2 you get a better idea if a kid is gonna be a player or a bust but not year 1...

Anyway with that said.... The big positive I have seen all year from Smith, he gets open.

The Bad his route running needs to be sharper and his concentration catching the ball in traffic needs to improve...

Lets hope yesterday was the start of the upward swing for Smith.
